I do. It's been a while since I wrote a new blog and the reasons are varied. I could tell a fib and say it's because I have been too busy but the truth is I have been on vacation, have been baby-sitting my daughter's children, (I love being a grand-ma despite being young) and I have been quite unable to sit down and write!
Today, I thought, now is the time to get back in the swing of things and get busy writing. Today I am hoping to produce many blog scribblings that I can schedule using the fabulous Bloggi software.
Bloggi is a new piece of software that we use at Talkmarketing to not only schedule our blogs, but to also post links to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. It also enables us to create a landing page to promote our free giveaway booklet called "Frightened of Cold Calling?" which you've probably already seen pop up! Please do click on the link and download the booklet - it is full of tips and ideas to get you using the telephone in your business in a more effective way.
I work quite intensively with Liz Wright from WrightIdeas4u - some people know her as the Business Ninja Know-it-all which I think makes her sound a bit obnoxious but really, Liz is great to work with and one of the things she does is host training days called Focus On Your Business.
She asked me to run one of the days on telemarketing and I have to say, it turned out much better than I imagined. The delegates were a great bunch of business men and women and we had a few laughs and lots of time to practise making telephone calls. We also got everyone to produce a script. Because, the most important thing you need when telemarketing is to know what you are talking about, and what you are going to say. It is no good stumbling over the conversation because you've forgotten what you're taking about.
If you need help in producing the right words to say to your customers or potential customers, why don't you give us a call? We can either help you devise your own calling strategy or we can make the calls for you. We're available right now to help you.
I'll stop being angry with my self and give myself some slack - afterall, the week is almost over and I'm in the zone.
Look out over the next few weeks for my prolific stream of content!
